Riding the wave

There is no "wave"....but i figured the subject line would intice the reader to be like..."hey, this sounds like something i need to read...especially if i'm planning on riding any waves in the near future.

i wish i could surf. if only to say..."looks like some nasty breakers today...."

all casual and whatnot. since its just how we "surf-folk" talk....

I remember when that song "The Beautiful People" by M.M. came out...it was such a cool song to me back then...but it sucks now. and actually...there were things about the song back then that made it suck...first...was a kid i knew who would play that song on his trombone.

only way to make a song worse....get a kid who sucks at trombone...to cover your song...and it will get worse...automatically.

Time to actually set up the blog

Its high time i set up the blog for real. when i get home today...i am going to look for pictures and other such "schwag"...for the blog. this will then result in an amazing number of readers coming to my blog every day...just to see what new and exciting picture i've put up.

maybe today i'll start with this one...

Keg Stand Fail

Its true...I failed. i didn't plan on failing (obviously....well...maybe not obviously for some things....but maybe we can talk about that later)


the point is....I failed at doing a kegstand this weekend. the reason, I have to suppose...is because I had consumed about 100 beers that night. ok...not 100


but a bunch...and WHOLE bunch....and so I sized up the keg....lined up my hands

and then i think my arms were like..."uhhh....absolutely not"

and they gave out on me....which i don't really know why...i can do a hand stand against like...a door or whatever...or a wall...so my arms can USUALLY hold me up.


damned beer.




in other news....the temperature on the mountain this weekend was Damn Cold degrees....which translated into doing the Tube park instead of snowboarding....sucked


i regret not snowboarding.



Finally, i would like to also thank Katy Perry....for having a name that sounds funny when you say it with a mouth full or marshmallow (not an actual mouth full of marshmallow....but if you say her name like you DO have a mouthful....you will get hours of joy out of it....(hours is too strong maybe....you will get a good chuckle out of it at least....))

Some random thoughts today. Firstly...I want to meet someone named Nicholas Snick


Nick Snick for short....


Also, i can't seem to tell the difference between a "Cinnamon" flavored jelly bean.....and the "Fruth Punch" flavor...

it makes eating jellybeans sort of like...an adventure....because until you bite down...you have no idea what you are getting. (i should just pay closer to attention to the kind of jellybean i am grabbing)




So I am going to try snowboarding this weekend. It will be my first time EVER.

Skiing I enjoy...and will continue to enjoy i imagine...however this snowboarding adventure will be really important. primarily, I just want to look cool. I have spent too long doing dorky things in my life (playing trumpet....having dandruff...eating an entire box of mac and cheese to myself every day after school when i was in middle school....not having friends)

the point is....snowboarding is cool no matter who you are. it is hard to be a dork on a snowboard.

i'm sure once i get out there and see a bunch of dorks on snowboards, i will change my tune.


but for now....snowboarding is perfect....because it makes you cool.

in other news...big plans coming up this weekend. As is the annual tradition (among MANY annual traditions) - we are going skiing, in North Conway, this weekend. Some people go snow tubing...others try snowboarding for the first time (me....this year)...and other just enjoy a good ski down the slopes. what we can ALL agree on during this weekend however...is that the fire in the fireplace...is to be built TOO big....and cause panic amongst the house guests regarding safety and whatnot. also...there will be a keg...that gets tapped in the first night...


i think i would also like to have a gangster name...idk what it would be....but something that conveys like..."he is to be feared...but he also loves to rap and make people laugh"



snickers are ridiculous....i am reading the back of one of the wrappers...."Substantialiscious"

Ok, I am at work....and I am not really supposed to be writing on my blog I have to imagine.
